Thank you for response.I wll carry out all your advice. Part of my `rpblem is ME- I a, 87, in a non English country, live alone and can not get English language IT help. If your optopns do not work I will try to get assistance to drive to a PC solutions shop and -first- change internal battery (laptop only 2 years old).
Hi Robert,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, we'd like to clarify that each antivirus has their own, unique scan engine & algorithm. Hence, the scan result would vary.
You can be rest assured that your computer would be protected against emerging threats & hackers, with AVG Internet Security installed on it.
AVG program will scan for PUA (potentially unwanted applications) by default. To ensure this : Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - General - Scans - Below each scan such as Deep scan, you'll be able to find the option.
If you suspect that your computer is infected, you can try running a boot time scan using AVG.
If you're still concerned, you can share us the screenshot of the scan results of the other program for better clarity.
