As in an earlier thread https://support.avg.com/answers?dt=login&id=906b00000008nCTAAY I am having trouble with Error code: 0xC0070643 Description: Event exec_finished.

Neither  AVG BFE Fix tool is available to me, nor, it seems will be AVG Sys Info; both are met with “folder inaccessible”.
Has any real progress been made with the problem? In truth I do wonder about the anti-virus industry, how cavalier it has become. I left AVG, because of its privacy decisions. I try to return because the other has caused me no end of problems access to some sites, only to find that a quite long running installation problem is still unsolved. Maybe the suppliers of security software should give up on making things more complex, all singing and dancing, and concentrate on supplying the user with something that actually works. Or be taken over by Ronseal.

Is there a way over this error problem now, or do I seek another antivirus protection program?

Are you able to provide me with the email instruction as well? I am receiving the same error message for AVG Remover Tool after trying uninstalling.

I would appreciate any help as my computer will not turn on otherwise.

As it happens, I have encountered other problems of late, so am considering a fresh install of my Winows  7 Home Premiun 64 bit OS.
