Anti-hacking protection

I have uninstalled AVG Total Protection (as suggested in email sent to me,)  The system then asked if there is a problem, then it proceeds to "repair" the problem, the message then advises that Anti-hacking has been restored, which of course it has not been restored.  I still do not have Anti-Hacking protection.  Calling their 1800 number is of no use whatsoever.

Hello Rosa,
I understand the inconvenience caused.
However, the Hacker protection issue is known/bug with AVG Internet Security user interface. Our development team is working on a fix. The issue will be fixed automatically soon.
Your computer will be protected from all types of malware, as the issue is only with AVG Internet Security user interface.
