Anti-spam stopped working and disappeared from Outlook 2016

I too found this feature comforting to have. I still get a lot of Spam, and atb least thought I was blocking the sender & contributing to the community when I used it. Shame.

We strive to provide the best protection possible, and our research and comprehensive review of the feature showed that Anti-Spam wasn’t offering enough value to our customers.
And given that email providers nowadays provide strong embedded anti-spam filters, we decided to focus our development efforts on adding value in other areas.
Recently we introduced new features like Remote Access Shield, Password Protection, improved botnet protection, etc. 
We think these new features, along with ongoing improvements to our other many features will provide advanced protection for our customers

I'm sorry to hear that you've discontinued your Anti-spam product. It was one of the most important features that I was using with AVG. I'll let my subscription run till it expires but I will be looking for another internet security provider once my subscription ends. Thank you.

I use the latest version of AVG Internet Security and approximately one week ago, the anti-spam add    in stopped working on Microsoft Outlook 2016 email. This has happened in the past and I checked my setup to see if anti-spam was toggled "Off", but it was still ON. 

Another fix that I tried was uninstalling AVG and "repairing" the installation to see if the anti-spam utility would integrate with Outlook. No luck. In fact, after the "repair" the anti-spam option completely disappeared from the settings. 

As a last resort, I downloaded the most recent version of AVG this afternoon and reinstalled the program again, but nothing has changed. There is no anti-spam option in the "Web & Email" section under the Basic and Full protection submenu items. Anti-spam simply disappeared and there seems to be no fix to this.

I did reach out to Customer Support for assistance last week and it's been 4-5 days now with absolutely no response from them. I'd appreciate to hear from AVG or if anyone in the community knows what to do to resolve this, I'm open to hear suggestions. Thank you in advance.
