Anti-theft indicates phone sent GPS coordinates

Hi Craig,

We're glad to help you with this.
We'll be able to check the location of the lost phone by visiting my.avg.com & then click on Device. It will give you the Info tab. Please select it & check under notifications & commands to see if you get the info.
Alternately, you can try the steps below 'Locate' section in this article.

After losing a phone on vacation, I received the following message in anti-theft:  "A position update has been received (caused by a battery low even), please check the Anti-Theft/GPS Coordinates tab."

I've logged in via laptop and cell browser and cannot find anything in Anti-theft that will give me the coordinates.  Are the GPS coordinates no longer available via the website?  If they are, can someone give me the navigation sequence to get to them.

This is time sensitive as we won't be here for a long time and would like to get a general idea where the phone is.  Thanks!

All the entries under info > commands failed.  The message in my original post is from info notifications and  indicates that GPS coordinates were sent from the phone.  I would like to get those coordinates, but have not found where to get them.

Yes, thatbis where I saw the GPS update info.  On other devices it will have a link next to the trash can icon to view in maps.  This does not.

Thank you for the information.

You will be able to see the coordinates for the location of your phone if you have already used the locate command from AVG.

To check this, please click on "Info->Commands". Check if you see any information on "Battery died".
