I'm sorry to hear about this. The issue is might be because of old/previous Immunet protection traces. I request you to contact Immunet support to remove their traces from your computer. There is no problem with Microsoft essentials. Once the Immunet protection traces will get removed, please reboot your computer once and check if your AVG Free Antivirus is working fine.

Hi, AVG indicates its in passive mode. While pressing fix now, a message says I must uninstall Microsoft Essentials and Immunet Protection. I cant find either one in uninstall program files.

Having the same problem with Microsoft Security Essentials conflict now. AVG in passive mode and says I must uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials. Why ? This popped up today. No changes to my Win 7 computer for over a year, both running fine together until today.
