You can try untick Scan system environment in scan settings.

I run th eanti-virus complete computer scan every 3 days. I up-date the databaase before I scan. My copy of AVG A/V 2014 is totally updated. Every time I scan, my scan aborts two thirds of the way through the scan process. This has been occuring for more than three months.
Please advise how I should repair the application or solve this problem? Thank you,
