Carl, AVG Ultimate Includes AVG Internet Security, AVG AntiVirus for Android™, AVG AntiVirus for Mac®, AVG PC TuneUp®, AVG Cleaner for Android™, AVG Cleaner for Mac®. You don't need AVG AntiVirus since it's included in AVG Internet Security.

AVG Ultimate 2015 covers everything AVG Antivirus does, so yeah, you should only keep the AVG Ultimate, having two antivirus that perform the same task might slow down your pc.

I feel as though I'm getting conflicting information here----do I need to remove the AVG Antivirus program or not? If so, how do I remove it, given that Control Panel is not much help in determining what needs to be tossed? As a refresher, I have AVG Ultimate 2015 and AVG Antivirus both installed on my computer.

Thanks for the responses. I saw several AVG programs in my computer's Control Panel. Can you please tell me which ones to remove? I need to remove the AVG ZEN program.

I have AVG Antivirus and AVG Ultimate 2015 both installed on my computer. A friend tells me that, if I have Ultimate, I don't need the Antivirus. Is this true? At the time I purchased these items, I was led to believe I needed both. Should I uninstall the Antivirus?
