Antivirus License Activation

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I see that you have purchased AVG Internet Security (1 computer) and it is compatible only in Windows PC. Hence you can install it in your Windows PC and use AVG Free Antivirus in your mac PC. If you don't have Windows PC, you can apply for refund at https://support.avg.com/RefundForm .

I recently renewed my antivirus license and received an email to activate my license by going to AVG, clicking on Support and then Reactivate using my license number. My Mac does not give me a Support button or Options button in the top menu bar to proceed.  I have spoken with 4 AVG staff (technical and sales) to get help with this but none could. Can anyone help me with this?
When I downloaded AVG in 2016 I specifically made sure to load the Mac Antivirus version.  How can I prevent this from happening again should I choose to use AVG for any future downloads? Since this is my second purchase will I be reimbursed for 2016 as well?
