Having used AVG for many years I recently upgraded to AVG Ultimate and have it installed on 8 of my devices. On 2 of the devices I have the Apache Web Server (httpd) installed as a service and started automatically at system boot.
After upgrading to Ultimate I have noticed that, on both machines, the service is being stopped and changed to a disabled state for some reason. I can change it back to start automatically but AVG will come along and stop the service and change it back to disabled again.
Where and what needs to be changed so that AVG will not touch Apache again?
Thanks,
Dave
Hello Dave,
We will check and help you to resolve it.
- How do you confirm that AVG program stopping the server services?
- Please confirm the operating system installed in your both devices?
- Have you tried to disable AVG products one by one and check which one causing this issue?
