We apologize for the inconvenience. This error can happen, if the Base Filter Engine in your computer is not started. We suggest you to download and run the BFE tool of AVG and see if that fix the issue http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_BFEfix.exe. If you still have any issue, feel; free to contact us.

I am recieving this error when I try to install the free version…any help would be great Thank you
