I understand the inconvenience. Please disable the firewall component (AVG > Menu> Settings > component > Firewall) and check if you are able to Stream music to Itunes.

Hi, my Apple TV will not recognise my iTunes library so I can't stream music from my PC to the TV. Is it possible this is connected to my AVG Firewall settings (e.g. closed ports) and if so, how do I solve the problem?

Dear Bhuvaneswari, yes, this worked. As soon as I turned it off, the computer and TV communicated. What do I do next with the Firewall?
