@AVG this is still an issue with fresh install of OSX Monetery, fresh installl of AVG. The VPN is blocking or not configured correctly. "Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately."
When VPN disabled no issues. I cant believe this still has not been addressed after 5 months (give or take).

- Could you please confirm whether have you tried to change the location in AVG Secure VPN?
- Are you using AVG Secure VPN trial or paid subscription?
- Have you tried to reinstall the AVG Secure VPN?
I was using the free version - and have for quite a few years. This seemed to instal a VPN automatically and there doesn’t appear to be any option to even switch it off. When I disconnected it from the drop down menu in the apple menubar, my emails loaded correctly. but the VPN reconnected after a short time.
Just installed Monterey - I have a gmail account and an icloud account. When the AVG VPN is connected, the icloud account body text does not load. Any pictures in the gmail account don't load although the text does. Switch off the AVG VPN and all works fine.
I get the error "Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately" on trying to open a gmail account email
For the moment I have deleted AVG

Can't - have uninstalled AVG to stop this problem from occurring and for obvious reasons I do not intend to re-install it.
