Application getting Blocked by Firewall even after customised policy

Hello Subramanian,

I understand this must be upsetting. Let me see if I can find a solution to it. Please disable AVG program temporarily (Right click on AVG in the system tray and turn off the protection) and check the status.

If the issue is with AVG firewall, then please follow the below steps to configure it.

1) Open AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Firewall–>Customize"
2) To the right of "Policies" scroll down to click on "System Rules"
3) Enable the option for "Windows file sharing and printing", "allow remote desktop connection" and the last entry "Enable stealth mode"
4) Below policies, click on "Network Profiles", to the right click on the network connection you are using and change the profile to "Private" if it is set to "Public".

I have Installed AVG Ultimate and the firewall has been configured for allowing application. I am using VPN and few application required selected Virtual location for execution. I have different VPN and not the AVG.
I have created the policy in the firewall to allow the internet In/out for the specific application and the application gets loaded and once the transactions are effected, the application messages it has no internet connectivity whereas Internet connectivity exists and if i have to use again I am forced to restart the system and the application gets loaded. I have put it on interactive and it asks my permission to get connected to the gateway.

I am not sure whether the AVG firewall keeps blocking it or I have not configured it properly. If any one has some solution please let me know
