Application resolution change after software update

Hi,

I'm using AVG antiVirus Free and after a requested antivirus software update I performed the restart as per the app instruction but after the restart the resolution of AVG antiVirus Free is now at a lower resolution so I'm not able to do anything with it, cant even close it from within the app, I have to close it from the taskbar.  I've tried changing the screen resolution but this makes no difference as AVG antiVirus Free remains at the same resolution so I'm unable to access anything within the app.

I doubt uninstalling and resinstalling will make much difference so I need to find a way of either downgrading the software version to the previous version from outside of the app or downloading the previous version from somewhere and installing that.  Or unless someone can point me to the configuration file so I can amend the application's resolution setting.

Any ideas?
