Application rules page

I hope this is what you need for Teamviewer.

Also, isn't there a way to prevent all "remote control" apps from accessing an AVG protected computer?

By the way, your AVG screenshots tool does not work.Teamviewer Rules

Hello Terry,

I understand your concern. Please open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall. Click on Firewall and you can see an option at the bottom called "Application Settings". Please click on the same and from here you can manage the applications.

Thank you, I found it.  When you click on “Firewall”, it doesn’t automatically drop down to show you the other options, you must use the scroll bar. I would have thought these options would be with the “Advanced” options.

However, now that I’ve found them, how can I shut down all “inbound” traffic to a specific application?  In the previous versions of AVG, I would just “deny”.

Where is the "Application Rules Page"  which is mentioned in the Firewall settings? I would love to specify which applications should be shut out by the firewall.

You could do this in previous versions of AVG Internet Security.

What shoild I do with the first line - the small one?

I've tried to change all the packet rues to deny, but as soon as I try to connect from the outside, AVG creates a new rule.

I am trying to stop Teamviewer" from allowing outsiders to connect to my computer.  If I want someone to connect for a short period of time, I can shut down the firewall momentarily.

Hello Terry,
I appreciate your effort in resolving this issue. When you open AVG application rule (settings), you will able to find list of applications, select your application which you want to deny, you will be able to find four lines, in that please select the first line (the small one). It will shut down all the inbound traffic.
Best regards,
Alok.

Terry, is Teamviewer program listed in the Application rule window of AVG?
Will you be able to provide the screenshot of the application rule window of your AVG program?
To take a screenshot please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV and attach the image to this post.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Thank you for the screenshot. You have selected the correct option for the "TeamViewer" application. Please check if you are able to delete the new rule for Teamviewer, if not then please select the bar to first small line for the new rule as well. Then, restart your computer and check if you are able to access Teamviewer. If the issue persists, please click on "Firewall component" and "Customize". Click on "Packet Rules" and check if the team viewer is listed there, if it is, then please select the same and click on block as action.

This should fix the issue.
