Apps losing focus

Hello Elmer,
Unfortunately you will not be able to install the earlier version of AVG in your computer.
We request you to disable individual components of AVG and check which component is causing this issue.
If AVG is blocking some applications, you can add it to exclusion list of AVG and report it to our developers.
Please try disable individual components and check it again.
Have a look at this link  to add exclusion for applications. http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields
Thank you.

Disabling AVG doesn't help, it leaves processes running and problem continues.  Had to uninstall it completely.  Is it possible to download and install an earlier version and prevent it from upgrading?  Current version is worse than a virus. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Elmer,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. We suggest you to disable all the components of the AVG Anti-Virus free and check the issue. Use the following instructions to disable AVG components : Open AVG Zen -> Click on Anti-Virus Free -> Click on "Menu" -> Settings -> Disable all components (Resident Shield, Software Analyzer and Email Protection (Disable Until restart)).
Please let us know if the issues still persists after AVG disable. Thank you

Installed current version in Win 8.1, applications and browser tabs are losing focus randomly.  Disabled several AVG features, unable to fix problem or determine which feature is causing it.  Happens in IE11, FF52, Notepad, Wordpad.  Just happened here when logging in.
