Are browser connections now limited? Can that be changed?

There are times when I need to open multiple browser tabs at once for different web sites. That was working fine until about 2-3 weeks ago. . Now I notice that I am getting a timeout error for the last couple of tabs. 

I just notice this thread because I just started having problems connecting to gmail through outlook. I found a thread at AVG Community that suggested adding 

[EmailScanner]
MaxConnections=100
 
to the EmailShield.ini file. 

That Seems to have fixed the outlook issue. 

Is there a similar way to change the max simultaneous connections for web browsing?

We are sorry to inform you that, the option which you want to change the connections for web browsing is not available in the current version. However, I would request you try to reset your browser and check it once.
