Have tried several times to find a way to contact AVG without success - can’t find an email / online chat / telephone number. Just keep going round in circles clicking on various so called “support” links
I need to talk with an AVG contact to get a refund for an erroneous charge to my debit card for a subscription I never ordered. I live in Mexico.
The phone contact rejects my try for contact saying that my phone number in Mexico is “invalid format”
I haved the same problem but then i try to contact them by facebook. I just send a message to them and was connected via messenger and it worked. I get an answer very quickly and could start chat whit. them
There is a chat box that I used but would be nicer to not have to pay to speak to a person
Avg is never known as user friendly company. For some reason i have bought their products years. And every time i try to contact them i have had difficulties to find chat. As you may have noticed, i’m not an native english speaker. I can write and read it, but my pronounciation is…well, not very excellent. I’d rather write because a) i probably can say what i mean and be understood and b) i will have some evidence what i have said.
I personally don’t understand why AVG makes support so difficult. They seem to think that everyone in the world speaks fluent english and are willing to speak it when purchasing something. Earlier there was chat box. I haven’t found it lately. Nor do i find any email address. If i should give them a number between 4-10, i’d rate them 1. And that only because those times earlier when i was able to chat with them. I admit that they are professionals. Every time my problem was solved. Now i can’t contact them via chat or email. Obviously they don’t need my money or the money of non-english speakers.
I do share your opinion about that stupid circling.
