Re. AVG Invoice date 29/02/2020 - For order No. (order number removed)
First notification from AVG re. the above AVG Intern Sec. Multi-Device product was e-mailed to me on 30 Jan. 2020 saying "We are keeping you Protected"
Soon after I returned home from a trip abroad, I e-mailed AVG at avg.cs@digitalriver.com on 6 Feb 20 re. the renewal for the above product giving my reply to AVG's e-mail dated 30 Jan 20 as follows:
I Advised that I did not agree to have my C/Card Debited with the sum of £74.99 on the 29 Feb. 2020
as per AVG's e-mail sent to me on the 30 Jan 20,because I did not need to have the AVG Multi-Device Internet Security Renewed. Currently, I already have no less than 4 Active AVG Internet Security + AVG TUne Up and AntiTrack for mine and my wife's computers, as per AVG's Records.
Consequently, I do not need nor want any further Internet Security for Multi Devices.
Despite my e-mail sent to AVG on the 6th Feb 20 clearly advising well in advance that I did not wish to renew the AVG Internet Security Multi-Device, I still received another e-mail from AVG on the 29 Feb. 20 telling me that this AVG Product (with new Order number removed) was indeed being renewed, contrary to my instructions, and the sum of £74.99 would be Debited to my MasterCard ending …*** on the 15 March 20.
I again e-mailed avg.cs@digitalriver.com on the 29 Feb 20 asking them again NOT TO DEBIT MY Card on the 15 March for the Multi-Device Protection as I do not wish to renew it for the reasons stated above.
Under the circumstances, I would like to asK AVG yet again to check + deal with my query and ensure that a refund for £74.99 is made to my Card without delay with ref. to Order number removed.
As AVG can easily check, I have not been using the AVG Intern Sec. Multi Device Product for ages.
With Thanks for your prompt attention to the above, I look forward to the refund paid into my Card Ac
