Asking for license number?

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Getting 'License error' pop-up from the AVG program is a known issue. To resolve the issue, I suggest you to remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After restarting your computer, you may need to manually uninstall/delete any remaining AVG applications from 'Control panel' and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. And then I request you to install your program 'AVG Protection' by following the instructions in http://avgread.me/1FKGRZI .Thank you.

My avg is asking me for a lisence number, but the product I have says

  • There is no license number for AVG Protection PRO.
    To activate, simply open it and log in using your AVG MyAccount email and password
I don't understand what I am meant to do here? I currently have no protection because I don't have a license number but also logging in doesn't get rid of this message?
