Asking for screenshots? That's not much help with malware that is demanding payment for unlock?

We'd like to clarify that, the previous agent requested a screenshot via phone. 
Could you please take a screenshot of the lock/ stating adware virus message through your phone and provide us? so that we can check it and assist you accordingly.

My Mac is locked by malware.  I've gotten a request to provide AVG a screenshot.  If my computer is locked, please let me know how to get you a screenshot.
