Asks Me To Activate Every Time I Turn My Laptop On

Every day, I turn on my laptop and AVG tells me my license has expired and I need to activate. The license number is already in the box, the license was re-newed less than 2 weeks ago. I press the button to reactivate, and it works. Until I power down and turn on again next time.
It's only installed on one machine (I have Norton on all my other machines) there has never been another or different AV on this machine. From day one AVG has been the only AV installed on this machine so no clashes there.

Any thoughts?
