"This is really embarrasing.
AV Service is not responing."
EXIT RESTART SERVICE
Will not restart and the AVG Icon in my tool bar has an ! in the middle of it. Please help again. I have spent HOURS trying to get AVG to work like it always has for the past several years with no problems but Iam getting very fustrated with the whole issue.

I regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. Please let us know which AVG product are you using to assist you further. Also, please open control panel, go to installed programs and features list to check if you see two 'AVG Protection' entries.

Thank you for providing the information. This could be caused due to an incomplete installation of a recent update. I would request you to uninstall AVG completely and reinstall it to resolve the issue.
Download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe. This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces.
Open tool
User Account control - click "Yes"
Windows safe mode - click "No"
Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security)
Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"
After restart, run AVG Remover and remove all other supported products and remnants of AVG (ZEN, Framework,…).
You can download and run AVG Remover tool as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG .

When I check the No box AVG will not run as the same warning keeps coming back on the screen. HELP PLEASE!!!!
Also the AVG icon in my tool bar keeps giving an error that the computer needs to be restarted. When I call up the AVG program it says that protection is off until restart. This has only started within the last month or so. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
