Audio Commercials start playing at random

Hello Peter. Please provide us with the screen shot of the issue that you face for better understanding and to assist you further. Thank you.

The ads have stopped, and I can now view all posts in this forum.

I actually got remote assistance from AVG and had two very recently installed programs uninstalled, one of which had a name something like adegear or adegare, I cannot accurately recall now.

But since all this, I can no longer access a hard drive attached to my router, through Windows explorer.  My andoid tablet file manager can see and access this hard drive, and stream music and video, and even my blu-ray player can (it has a Network choice in its menu, and uses wifi)

Hello Peter. Pleased to see that you appear to be now sorted. Thanks for returning & posting. Please contact us back when you face the issue, we are there to help you with it.

I am putting this in "General Discussion" because it seems when I try to go to the protection thread the screen starts to display this thread then stops and then displays a post in what appears to be in an Asian language, and displays this post repeatedly and will not display any real posts including one I made myself a day ago.

This follows my attempting to get help on the fact that my computer has started randomly playing audio commercials even after I have quite all browsing programs, for which I still need help.

I went to system restore to see if I could get around this problem that way but my system reported no restore points available.
