Audio Device Missing

I understand the inconvenience. Please restart your computer once and run the troubleshooter for audio device.To run the troubleshooter, select the Start  button, type Troubleshoot, and then select Troubleshoot from the list of results. I recently had problems with hackers, and viruses, so I got AVG to run a Security check, and it came up clean, BUT after the Security Check, I have no Audio, no matter what I try, I still have no AUDIO. I keep getting the message that there is no audio device installed, yet it was working well before the SECURITY CHECK. I have a NEW HP LAP TOP, running Windows 10. Any suggestions ?
