Auto maintenance won't turn off

I have this same problem. Did the uninstall and re-install fix the problem?

This isn't the expected behavior. Please accept apologies for the inconvenience caused.

We request you to uninstall the AVG PC TuneUp and reinstall it again.

Then try to turn off the maintenance again.

I go into PC Tune Up>menu>settings>auto maintenance and turn off auto maintenance. Auto maintenance stays turned on and drains resources by scanning ,etc., while I'm trying to work on the computer. The icon in Tune Up home page says it's turned on. How do you turn off auto maintenance in PC tune up?

However, we suggest you to reinstall the program and monitor the status.

I have sent an email with the steps to uninstall, install and activate AVG TuneUp.

Uninstall/reinstall fixed the problem. Today, I would try Menu>Settings>Troubleshooting>REPAIR APP first before performing uninstall/reinstall. BTW, I just received an email today notifying me of your December 13, 2019 post.
