Hi Peter,
We understand your concern, don't worry we will definitely help you with it. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. You can specify whether and when Automatic Maintenance should run automatically in the background. You can even have automatic maintenance run only in idle mode, i.e. it only starts when you are not currently working on your computer and no programs are required in the background. This way Automatic Maintenance will never interrupt your work. If you select this option, following the number of days specified by you, maintenance will be attempted as soon as your computer is in idle mode. Three days is selected by default.
In the Dashboard, click the gearwheel button on the Maintenance tile (it's the leftmost one). The central AVG PC TuneUp configuration dialog opens, with an area for Automatic Maintenance and one for 1-Click Maintenance. Configure your settings here.
These steps should resolve the issue. Thank you.
My AVG PC Tune up revealed today that the Auto Maintenance had not happened for 12 days, it had many issues to fix when i asked it to check. I thought this service was a daily check as the word Auto maintenance implies that? Am i correct or do i have an issue?
