Automatic firewall mode changed

this was the first thing I tried and even restarted. For some reason whatever network I connect to I alway get a new version of 'unknown network' even reconnecting results in a new version which causes the profile switch. The most frustrating is that instead of "unknown network" I see the name of thenetwork I connect to and I can't see which network switched.

hint: disabline network profiles has no effect AT ALL

I'm on a corporate network which I set as private. Every time I log on it gets changed to public. WHY DO I EVEN MARK IT AS PRIVATE JUST TO SEE YOU IGNORE MY SETTING??? Do I really have to go to another vendor to see software actually do what I pay for it??? not to mention that as soon as I click the huge button to "change mode" I get load errors for the firewall settings. DO YOU EVER TEST YOUR SHIT BEFORE FUCKING USERS OVER TIME AFTER TIME???

Wesley, I realize the situation.
To be sure, are you using any VPN application?
Could you provide the screenshot of AVG Firewall "network profile" window to assist further?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
