THis is the link that gets activated. .and redirected to

Dear Ananth, Ravishankar, and AVG Support..

Google Chrome, Opera and PC Windows 8.1 (for me) with AVG Free.
I got this redirection problem too, firstly it creates a video ad on top of almost any page then it opens a popup link,

http://hidcptqmerifcusymaqddcomolsujibeptsmycmqsrwgrcmywshgnfpjhcc.com/sh.aspx? etc..
which quickly redirects to http://www.tradeadexchange.com/a/display.php? and then often a third address like sports bet or some random advertising etc..

Don't feel bad either, nothing finds this thing so far including, Spybot - Search and destroy, TDS Killer, E-Set Online Scanner, Spy Hunter 4, nothing irregular appears in startup in task manager appart from these two things (Program) which have greyed out options to get info from too so I disabled them and restarted, sadly with still the same problem.

Somehow it has given me a abnormal DNS of 37.157.241.140  and 31.3.253.11 which I believe is the problem, I'm not in great britain for starters as these IP's are, lets just say i'm on the other side of the world.

So the fix for now was to manually set up my DNS straight to my modem. Its worked to changed the DNS so I can only assume my popups will stay away at least until next reboot where the DNS may go back to screwed again.

Hope that helps.

The actual fix was just now, hard reset of the modem, after noticing the xbox also recieved the same DNS, and that my housemates phones, and laptops were also effected I knew it was much more than I first thought.

It seems they used some sort of DNS hijacking which popped up these adverts everywhere almost.

They also lock all connectivity to the modem, with only port 7547 remained open (thereby no html or other sort of access) so factory reset was the only option, but it worked, now every device is fine.

Hi,
i use a tab pro version.  While browsing through the browser the browser gets auto redirected to other advertising websites like tradeexchange.com, I'm sure it's some java based malware. How to get rid of it.

Hello Sheeple.
Thank you for sharing the workaround here so that it can help others with the same issue. Pleased to see that you appear to be now sorted. Thanks for returning to the Community & posting.

Hello Federico,

Whenever you visit some of the websites from your mobile it is obvious that you will get pages redirected to ads this is the way of marketing. You have to ignore those ads so that you can get back the website page again.
