Automatic subscriptions

I cancelled my automatic subscription on 5th Sept 2015.  I'm still receiving email reminders that it will be renewed in October (with no option to confirm cancellation).  There seems to be no way on AVG website either to check that my account has been closed.  I'm worried that money will still be taken out of my account.
