Please run the  AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Hello. This is a first for me so I hope I am sending this correctly. I just got my pc for Xmas. I had McAfee. It has been uninstalled, however I still get the same message…"ave fail error 0xC0070643".  I have been at this for a few days. I  have use the removal system on AVG, I have also follow intructions for McAfee…  Nothing is working!

​My old pc crashed where I already had AVG. I did not renew since I cannot get it to work. Please, help!
I have no protection and no idea what to do.  Thank you
