AVG 2014 and 2015 won't install

Hello Robert. Please follow the instructions to resolve your issue.
1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: For 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
For 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.(1/2)

I have searched the internet for possible answers and thus far have tried them all.

I recently noticed that AVG 2014 was no longer getting updates or anything and so I uninstalled it with no problems.

When I tried to install 2015, I kept getting Writing config file failed andd MSI engine failed errors.

I have manually edited the registry and removed anything and everything to do with AVG, deleted all AVG folders off my computer, ran the AVG cleaner files and such.

 

Every single time I try to install any of the AVG products it gets the very last stage of installation and just hangs till it errors out.

I told AVG installion to save the log file.
