Hi Pat,
If you are not able to create GMER output it may be caused by infection.
Try scan your PC using updated AVG Rescue Cd (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-AVG-Rescue-CD).

Been thru all the hoops …remove tool  stops and  shuts down…Already sent fix it  to your "smart people"    Sorry not spending $15.00 to have "your people" reinstall…Error: 27046. just keeps  popping up   .Which seems to be a very popular error  from what other have posted… Thought  you had a good product …

Have tried all the above items even remove AVG  update  to see if that was blocking install that  did'nt  work  either…    ???

Pat, Newest one of what!!! Now I am really confused!! I thought you said you couldn't get GMER to work!! Look again!! My very 1st posting advised when AVG Community Support expert assistance is available i.e. Workdays [Mon-Fri] 9:00am - 5:00pm CET. Nothing more than that info… If you are referring to the diagnostic output that was actually requested in my 2nd posting & as far as I know Zbynek doesn't want that again. He's only interested in your GMER.

Pat, Also, to save time, in order to analyse your issue the AVG Community Support expert may require the diagnostic output using this tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe).

alan:    Zbynek ; sent me this Your issue is most likely caused by missing "Base Filtering Engine" try refer to this (http://www.registryrecycler.com/blog/2013/09/repair-and-restore-base-filtering-engine-bfe/) to fix it.   which I did and fixed  the BFE, still get the same error…                                                                                                        Here what  it says …
