AVG 2015 Free configuration files for storing settings

Thank you Avinash.  I guess that all I need to do to recover the settings is to copy the files into folder 'cfgall' after reinstalling AVG Free 2015, probably while Windows is in Safe Mode.  If I am mistaken in that assumption, I would be glad to be corrected.

A Happy New Year to you.
Best wishes,
Chris Pugson

Does the folder  called 'cfgall' (in the user 'Application Data' folder) contain the configuration settings that I have entered in 'Advanced Settings', especially the file called 'userawacs.cfg'?

I have noticed that the product repair/change function does not work on my Windows XP system with SSE only processor.  I have no choice as an alternative but to run the offline installer, which does work, but I am then left with having to remake all my settings through 'Advanced Settings' which is especially tedious if SSL emails are catered for.

Hello Chris.
Thank you for contacting us. Yes, the cfgall folder contains the settings of your AVG program. Thank you.

Hello Chris,
We request you to try out copy paste the setting and try it out once and get back to us whether it works. We cannot guarantee you this would work. Your patience is much appreciated.
