OK this is a new machine that I have built running 8.1 and no problem. Got flash update 2015, did that, got a page said update AVG files, did that, then it said whilst updating etc… so I clicked on Opera shortcut whoosh it vanished, so I tried Chrome shortcut, whoosh… Well then I got told to restart, so I did. However!!! I got the BIOS page come up, and the mouse arrow. My thoughts what was wrong there!, so I crashed the machine (it would not turn off) and then switched it off, counted10 and restarted. Same again but it said "no something connected" I again switched off. and for some strange reason plugged in a spare drive with just files on it, and the computer started normally. It has never done anything like this before, everything is only weeks old and it seems strange it is whilst ;loading AVG update.
Machine build, after building and whilst running it was given a thourough shake etc and has since then not moved.
