I cannot get AVG 2015 to install - Runs 3/4 of the way and then Errors:
Severity: Error
Error code: OxC0070643
Error message: General internal error
Additional message: MSI Engine: Failed to install the product.
@ AVG MSI_Error 27046
Driver installation failed (0xE0010057)
Context: AVG product installation, MSI action failed
I have Windows XP SP4 (Fresh Install) 32 Bit - could this be an issue?
I have XP running with AVG 2015 on 3 other Machines with no problems
Do Know that it will run after installed - I just can't get it to Install
I have used AVG for Years and this is the First time to run into a Problem
Have tried everything mentioned in these Forums Numerous times - Avg Remover Tool (Correct One) - Scanned for AVG Fragments after Uninstall and found None even in the Registry - Avg Reset Tool - Complete AVG Install / Uninstall (Full and Correct Version) - MSI Unregister / Register - Checked MSI settings (Correct) - XP is Updated - Clean Boot - Safe Mode of all above
But all keep giving the Same Error
Any Suggestions would be Greatly appreciated!
