I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would request you to visit http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2 and click on "AVG Remover" to download the remover tool and run it on your PC. It will ask you to select which product you would like to uninstall. Please select "AVG Protection" and follow the setup instructions to uninstall AVG. Then please click on this link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_692.exe to download and install AVG Anti virus free 2016. I downloaded and installed AVG 2015 Free edition earlier this year. Yesterday, I was alerted that AVG 2015 Free is OFF. I tried to restart it by clicking the AVG shortcut Icon. I got the spinning beach ball for about a second and that was it. The AVG 2015 Free Edition program screen did not appear. I then attempted to reinstall AVG 2015 Free. After reistalling it, the Protection Icon went from 0% to 100% and then back to 0%. It informed me that I was NOT PROTECTED. I am running Windows 7. What do I need to do to get my AVG Free up and running again.
