I updated AVG 2015 to AVG 2016 a few days ago. I notice that the Event History is empty and does not update. I'm an XP user.
I have also done the update on three other machines, one an XP machine, and the two others Windows 7 machines. The Event History is working fine on the two Windows 7 machines but is empty on the two XP machines.
What is wrong.

I'm currently on version 2016.0.7163 and the program update function is not yet offering me 
2016.0.7226.
Where did you find that newer version?
