I just had a user with AVG AntiVirus have a call that Rundll.32 was also a trojan. A reboot was required to finish. It was required to reboot as it removed the rundll.32exe file from the system which then caused it to not load with an error. Booted in safe mode went to a previous restore and it loaded. Rundll still gone which caused many problems so far. Attempted replace of the file form another W7 32 and avg also flagged that as a trojan. read a user updated to the latest full avg and fixed theirs so i did and all of a suddent the same file was not a trojan , i installed it which fixed several problems but after 6 hours i am having the user get an external and i will reformat the system. so YES it is a false postive who do i send my bill to avg? A 10 on the aggravation scale. So Windows, hackers, gov agencys and the antivirus are fighting us just great i'm getting an etch a sketch and quit all this.
Hello Carl,
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Please be informed that there are known issues with the AVG Schedule Scan 2017 version.
However, we are fixing it and most of the customers aren't facing issues with it.
Also, the older version of AVG had the feature for starting the schedule scan later even if the PC is put to sleep mode or turned off at the time of schedule.
However, on the newer 2017 version this features isn't available. The PC should be turned on and shouldn't be on sleep mode at the time of schedule scan.
If that happens then the schedule scan for that day will get aborted.
I request you to update your AVG Antivirus free once and check whether there is any issues in starting up the schedule scan.
Hi
Is the feature "for starting the schedule scan later even if the PC is put to sleep mode or turned off at the time of schedule" going to be restored in AVG free or paid version?
Thanks
Trevor
I have always like the AVG product! "Hopefully" this will be a short lived issue.

The older version of AVG had the feature for starting the schedule scan later even if the PC is put to sleep mode or turned off at the time of schedule. Hence our developers are working to add that feature for both paid and free version of AVG 2017.
Your patience is much appreciated in this matter.
Thank you.
