Hello,
Let me explain how my nightmare started … I had AVG 2016 installed when it was upgraded to version 2017. Since then I have obsessed that I actually had two antivirus programs at the same time because when I tried to get out of passive mode avg said That I have to uninstall 2015. I tried all the variants you recommended, but I could not uninstall because the remover program was blocked every time. OK, having backup to windows, I did recover and i had again avg 2016 without update to 2017 and that's how i was able to uninstall avg 2016. I manually cleaned all registers and folders, I ran some uninstallers but when i try to install clean avg 2017 Is blocked at 97%. If I restart on my computer, either tell me that it did not install properly, or that 2015 is still present and I can not go out of passive mode. I tried to install avast but he also gets stuck near the end and tells me that avg 2015 is present in the computer. I mention that from the beginning, I had all the avg free versions. I blocked the firewall, I uninstalled antimallware programs, I deleted the avg tuneup utilities, it did not work. I think I've been recovering the windows at least 15 times and there's no option. I searched the internet for avg 2015 offline installer , thinking that after reinstalling it will let me to uninstall properly but it sent me to avg 2017. I tried installing in safe mode … nothing worked … I came to write to you … please help me because I do not want to reinstall windows and the threat with wanna-cry is present and I do not have antivirus installed … please !!!
