AVG 2017 upgrade completes but admin rights lost

Hi Earl,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, please attach us the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the Error message that you get while trying to add files into Exceptions.

Thank you!

Before I'd read these replys, I did a full unistall using Revo Uninstaller, and then reinstalled, but running the executable as Admin, and I seem to have my admin writes back…thanks

I've had an automatic update of my AVG Free 2016 to AVG Free 2017. The upgrade completes, but I no longer have admin rights to manipulate the exceptions list (I have a few programs that give out false positives to AVG). I followed the troubleshooting procedures and confirmed that my user ID had admin rights.

Since the update was automatic, I could not run the executable for the upgrade as Administrator - does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix?
