Please be informed that the option for running the AVG Scheduled scan is not available on the 2017 version right now.
The PC has to be in active state and turned on at the time of scheduled scan. If the PC is in sleep mode or turned off then that instance will get aborted.

I have had so many problems since this upgrade. I am still unable to get my scheduled scans to run. I am following the steps shown in the Help function ok but when it comes to Scheduling one of the steps shown is to tick the box against "Wake up the system to start the scan [if in sleep mode]. However this option is not shown in the Scheduling window. [ I'm not even sure if this step would help me as I cannot get my scheduled scans to start even when my system is not in sleep mode but it's worth a try! ] I have had several live sessions with AVG personnel but none of them have been able to help. I keep being promised that another upgrade is coming which presumably will sort out this and other problems - but when? I have been with AVG for many years now but am seriously considering switching to another provider. I have lost faith in AVG being able to safeguard my computer from viruses, threats etc.
