I will assist you further.

Installing AVG AntiVirus will not ask mask your existing IP address of your computer.

Please disable AVG temporarily on your computer and check if you are able to connect to WiFi from your computer.

To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and you can see a scroll bar to "Disable Protection", click on the same to disable.

Hi guys .
Can anyone assist " I've down loaded avg antivirus on a 30 day trial basis " only to find once I've activated avg antivirus " my system now requires an IP address for my WiFi " but prior to installation everything was working fine "can anyone please advise ?
