I've seen this issue brought up before here, but do not know if it has ever been resolved. Anytime I try to any random website, through Google Chrome or Firefox, I get an AVG popup advising that a connection was successfully aborted. Here's a screenshot:
I have already reset my browser, cleaned browser history data, updated AVG, and restarted my PC, but the issue persists. Has anyone figured out what is causing this? Thanks.
Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Tony.
Please refer to this article, make sure that your AVG Antivirus program & it's virus definitions are up to date. Restart your computer once after the update.
If the issue still persists after making sure that your AVG program & it's virus definitions are up to date, please let us know. We'll then check & offer you appropriate assictance via email.
