AVG aborted my connection to my email. Now I cannot get into my email

I am trying to get into my usual email. An AVG message is popping up saying aborted connection to Webmail2.cogeco.ca due to URL Phishing. How do I fix this so I can use my email account again and how does AVG have the right to abort my personal email?
