AVG and Computer Management Snapin

Initially, please let us know the operating system of your computer, clarify whether you use AVG Free Antivirus & let us know whether uninstalling AVG Free Antivirus fixes the issue.

With AVG installed, every time I try to access the computer management snapin (by right clicking on the computer icon or 'computer' under the start menu, and choosing 'manage'), I get an error that "The computer management Snapin launcher failed to start" message but the window opens.  I get the same if I go to the \system32 folder and double click the CompMgmtLauncher.exe.  Completely shutting down my AV software does not stop this behavior.  I have to completely uninstall AVG.  Is there a fix for this?

I have Japanese Windows 7 32-bit.  I use AVG Free Antivirus.  Yes, uninstalling fixes the issue. I never had this issue for the many years that I have used AVG Free.  It seems to have started with a recent update but I don't know when exactly.  I get the error message and about 5-10 seconds later it launches.Computer Management Snapin failed to launch.

I have ensured that the lastest patches are applied.  The problem still persists.
