We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it to check whether the issue is resolved.  
Please  click this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and "Run" the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.

We request you to disable AVG program temporarily by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1GnMD3N and check for the issue with Edge browser and do let us know the status of it.

Hi, I have AVG installed on my school computer. At home everything works well, but on the school network, any internet link produces a page saying either "There is a problem connecting securely to this website", or "There’s a problem with this website’s security certificate" - even Google! Is there anything that I could do?

I disabled AVG at school for five minutes and was able to open links without receiving errors. The IT guys at school said something about there being a different security software on school computers (I bought this computer externally though?). Could this be messing with the program
