AVG and Google Chrome

Thanks, but I have reset before I posted. Sorry I forgot to mention that. But I did a new reset again with no luck. Any other ideas?

Hi Arne, you can remove Quick Tune component. To know how to remove particular component from AVG vist http://avgread.me/1IHm8qB. Thanks.

Hi Arne, please reset Google Chrome to resolve this issue. You can find the steps to reset Chrome at http://bit.ly/1JQh8hQ. Thanks.

Which AVG product are you using? I mean is it AVG Antivirus or AVG Internet Security or AVG Premium Security? Fix Performance works only for AVG Premium Security. If you are using any other product then there is no need to use Fix performance. Thanks.

Thanks for trying to help, but I can't find the Quick Tune component in the list of components.

Hopefully I'm adding this to the right category.
I have a problem using my Google Chrome browser that is described in this FAQ answer:
"Error in Google Chrome after installing AVG SafeGuard: Your preferences can not be read …"
My problem is that I get those error messages even if don't have AVG SafeGuard installed, I can't even remember I had it installed at any time. Anyway, I don't have any AVG SafeGuard to uninstall, so what can I do apart from uninstalling AVG?
