AVG and iPhone App Store compatibility issue

Hi there,
I have AVG Security on my iPhone iOS Version 17.3.1 and when I activate the VPN secure connection within the app, I lose the ability to access App Store. Also, what is the difference between this VPN by AVG and the other one downloadable with its own app?
